Business Introduction

The core business of Diamorph is to develop and commercialize advanced materials. The main business areas are bearing components and medtech. The latter of these areas is today run in the subsidiary Episurf Medical. In addition to these areas, Diamorph has a number of other products under development within the areas of clean energy, security, and general industrial applications.

Diamorph Bearings 

Diamorph has developed Diabear™, a ceramic roller for bearing applications. The material is strong, tough and lightweight and is ideal for applications such as rolling elements for bearings. Numerous advantages over the all-steel bearings make the hybrid bearings a high-quality solution in a number of fields.

Episurf Medical 

Episurf Medical develops, and manufactures new implants for treatment of early stage cartilage defects within the major joints in the human body. Episurf Medical started as a project within Diamorph AB and is since 2010 a separate subsidiary. For further information visit www.episurf.com.

Other Products

Diamorph has developed a number of advanced materials in the areas of ceramics, composite materials and glasses. Examples are novel functionally graded materials, high quality boron carbide ceramics and high refractive glasses.
